A man travels to Bretagne to meet his late wife's former lover and find out about her unknown past.
After the sudden death of his wife, Marco discovers that she had a lover named Frédéric. Determined to learn more about his wife's secret life, he travels to Bretagne, where, through Frédéric, he begins to discover unknown aspects of his marriage.
