At 90 years old, Holocaust survivor Jacques Bude has lived through history that most only read about. In this intimate 13-minute documentary, he opens his home and his memory, recounting his years in post-war Israel, and how surviving genocide shaped his lifelong commitment to the Palestinian cause. The Orphan is a film about what history does to a person, and what a person chooses to do with history.
